The July Sunday Assembly will explore the theme of… Journeys.

This month we’re thrilled to welcome journalist, improviser and hip-hop connoisseur, Dave Waller as our guest speaker. Dave, who spoke at last year’s TEDx Brighton conference, is stopping by en route to the Edinburgh Fringe festival and will take us on a journey through his adventures in music, heritage and trust…

After the assembly, we’ll be heading down to Hove lawns, opposite the end of Waterloo Road for a picnic, weather permitting. Please do bring some food and drink and join us.

The Sunday Assembly is a worldwide network of godless congregations that meet locally to hear great talks, sing songs and celebrate life.

Our venue is the beautiful St Andrew’s Church on Waterloo Street, Hove, BN3 1AQ. Please be aware the though the address is correct, the map shown by Facebook is wrong – it’s definitely on Waterloo Street, opposite the Iron Duke pub. A few people have been caught out by that in the past…

    Sunday Assembly Brighton – AGM

    1:00 pmTBC

Sunday Assembly Brighton is run by a small team of volunteers. We’re formalising the way the organisation works to help it continue to grow. To this end, we’re holding our first AGM after the assembly on Sunday 28th September starting at 1pm.

We’ll be publishing more information about what the committee does, the various roles, a financial report and our constitution in due course.

If you’d like to stand for election to the committee, please keep an eye out on our website. We’ll publish more details there soon.

Although AGMs are traditionally a dull affair, please do try to make time to come along. It will be brief, but it’s important – this is your Sunday Assembly and we want you to help steer its development. Plus there will be a free buffet lunch :-)
